News Group Info Dialog Elements
The objects on the Server Info dialog are as follows:
Group Display Area
This text area displays a list of news groups which have been entered.
To the left of each group is a marker (ACTIVE: or INACT_:) which
indicates whether the group is active or inactive. An group must be
marked active to be processed when the Run button is pressed
on the main dialog. This allows you search different sets of groups without
having to re-type the names in every time you change. You might want
to look for MP3 files in one set of newsgroups and AVI files in
another.
If you click a line containing a group, the line becomes highlighted.
The Edit, Activate, Deactivate, and Remove buttons will apply to this
line.
If you click the OK button, the list of groups along with their
activation status will be saved in the zub.ini file.
Add Button
The Add button brings up a dialog
which is used to add a new news group to the list.
Newsgroup names must be in the form name.name.name which is how
they are recognised by the
Edit Button
The Edit button brings up a dialog
which allows you to edit a news group name. This is useful if you
mistype a name. You can also activate/deactivate in the dialog.
Activate Button
This button activates the highlighed entry so the highlighted news
group will be processed when the Run button in the main dialog is pressed.
Deactivate Button
This button deactivates the highlighed entry so the highlighted news
group will NOT be processed when the Run button in the main dialog is pressed.
Remove Button
This button removes the highlighed entry from the list.
OK Button
This button closes the dialog, returning to the main dialog. The
updated data is saved at this time in the registry.
Cancel Button
This button closes the dialog, returning to the main dialog.
Any changes made are discarded.
